Belly Dance Basics Student Hannah
Jill's expertise, dedication and passion show in her teaching. Her students walk away feeling accomplished yet challenged, and always supported. Whether it's a technique or fitness class, private lesson, or workshop Jill brings over 2 decades of teaching experience and a lifetime of dance education to you.
Jill's touring career has lead her to work with some of the most accomplished bellydancers in the field. She's a trained classical dancer in ballet/pointe and modern, which gives her teaching style a keen eye to correct body alignment and movement quality.
Her approach to teaching is extremely rhythmical, given her background in tap, flamenco and percussion instruments of zaghat and castañets. It's important her students develop their sense of timing and rhythm.
Credentials include: BFA in Dance Ed. from University of the Arts, Associates Degree from Dance Masters of America, Certified SharQuí Master Instructor.
